Fotokromik Senofilcon A Kontakt Lensin Total Göz Aberasyonlarına Etkisi

Purpose: To investigate the effect of newly designed photochromic Senofilcon-A lens(PCL) on optical aberrations eye (total (TA) and high-order-aberrations (HOA)) under ambient illumination conditions.
 Methods: In this retrospective study, 40 eyes 20 volunteers were fitted with a non-photochromic contact lens right eye, PCL left eye. Subjects evaluated in terms best-corrected visual-acuity. Aberrometric measurements obtained at baseline(lens-free), activated deactivated 3 mm, 6 mm maximum pupil size. 
 Results: lens-free situation there was no difference TA HOAs(for 3mm, 6mm max-pupil-size, TA; P= .456; .687; .899 HOA; P = .226; .259; .442 respectively).In all diameters, group compared to standard group, slight increase total independent activation, which not statistically significant(for 3mm,6mm situation;P .523; .622; .244 situation; .785; .357; .201,respectively). Contrary aberrations, higher order non-significantly slightly decreased group(for .235; .661; .841 .245; .071; .231,respectively).
 Conclusion: The produces similar HOAs soft both situation. PCLs can be preferred for those who need uninterrupted vision variable light conditions.
